| Chamber of Commerce "Community
Links Calendar of Events" Implemented a Web
browser front end to a back end data base using SQL, a
Perl Gateway to a C API, and the Postgress 95 SQL data
base application running on a Unix server. This
preliminary "Community Links Calendar of
Events" allows out of town visitors to remotely
search local events from the Web by date and location. A
larger scale implementation has been approved by
sponsoring organizations, in addition to other spin off
Web data base projects. |
| Yoga
Universal Student Questionnaire This
form was programmed using Perl and the Common Gateway
Interface (CGI), in order to obtain responses and
marketing research from yoga workshop sales prospects
browsing the site. User input is gathered when the form
is submitted, and then automatically entered by the Web
server into a back end data base for appropriate
processing by staff members. |
| Electronic
Parliament Membership Application Similar to the above example, this form adds more sales value to CGI by processing a Membership Application over the Web and entering the new member data into a back end data base. Here's our demo version. |
